As a secular venue for all Lao and non-Lao communities to enjoy, the Sabaidee Pbeemai Lao Festival attracts thousands of people annually!  It is a celebration for the 2556 Lao New Year which, is related to the water festival shared by Asian communities from the Yunnan Province in China, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, and Laos.  Although typically the water festival is celebrated in April, the Sabaidee Pbeemai Lao Festival is celebrated in a later month in order to encourage the public to attend temple festivities throughout April.

In addition to joining the festival, please consider sponsoring by advertising or donating to help fund the Sabaidee Pbeemai Lao Festival.  The deadline for advertisement submission is May 10, 2013.  We greatly appreciate your support and look forward to celebrating with you soon.  Save the date, spread the word, and come out to celebrate!
